The Problem based teaching in ICT literacy

The subject which will be discussed in this master's paper is the basic teaching methods of information and communication technologies (ICT), its importance in the 21st century for education and employment, advantages and disadvantages of each method. Mainly discussed problem-based teaching method as one of the teaching method of ICT. Particular example demonstrates how to create a teaching environment using a problem-based method and how to use it in computer sciences. This master's paper indicates advantages of the problem-based teaching method. Its usage helps students how to obtain the best out of the learning process and to be able to solve problems by means of acquired knowledge, also to become more motivated and to establish critical thinking skills.
