Reverse Dynamo in Degenerate Electron-Positron Outer Layer of Compact Objects

Two distinct routes lead to the creation of multi scale equilibrium structures in dance degenerate pair-ion charged fluids, often met in astrophysical conditions. Degenerate e-p plasmas effective inertia makes the effective skin depths larger (much larger) than the standard skin depth. The separation of scales leads to formation of unusual structures and creation of new channels for energy transformations. Taking into account the degeneracy effects, we investigated the conversion of microscopic energy to macroscopic energy in such structures by reverse dynamo mechanism. We derived dynamical equations with generalized terms. We demonstrate that the generation of large-scale magnetic field and flow is simultaneous as in classical case, as well as in classical degenerate electron-ion plasmas. We examined a possible role played by degeneracy effects in two fluids and how the additional terms due to magneto-fluid coupling affect the evolution of macroscopic fields.
