The aim of this research is to study the influence of temperature on the population dynamics of H. halys on hazelnut orchards located in the Samegrelo Region, Zugdidi district, village of Rike. Duration of research was from May 20 to the end of October 2017. Observations were conducted in two commercial hazelnut orchards in the village Rike, Zugdidi District, Samegrelo region. Commercially available BMSB monitoring pheromone lures and sticky traps were used for BMSB monitoring in both orchards. All traps were checked weekly for the presence of stink bugs. Number of adults and nymphs were recorded individually for each trap. The temperature was recorded every day by a weather station in the village Chitatskari. Based on this research, it is assumed that biology of the H. halys depends on the accumulation of degree days with the peak occurrence of adults and nymphs in the field at 504.8-1117.5DD13.9.
