Natural environment and landscape-ecological aspects of the coastal Adjara

The work consists of three chapters. The first chapter discusses the diversity of the natural environment. Namely: relief, climate, inland waters, soil-vegetation cover and etc. Where the emphasis is placed on anthropogenic transformation and aspects of preservation, restoration and reproduction of the environment. The second chapter is dedicated to the transformation of the natural environment. This chapter discusses natural disasters, environmental problems in the atmosphere. The above mentioned chapter concerns the Black Sea and its ecological problems. The third chapter analyzes landscape potential and natural use issues. Recommendations and conclusions are given. The survey is based on a multifactor (multi-component) approach. It is not limited to one of the methods. The study uses a descriptive, cartographic, field, comparative analysis and social research method. In our opinion Recommendations and conclusions given in the work will provide some assistance to the region in solving the environmental and ecological problems.
