Synthesis of biologically active indole and adamantine fragment containing dipeptides via multi-component Ugi reaction

New biological active Adamantane and Indole containing peptides are synthesized via multicomponent Ugi reaction. Synthesis of the target products were carried out by several steps. In the first stage synthesized the initial substances: N-methyl-indole-2-carboxilic acid, 1-isocyanoadamantane and ethyl isocyanoacetate and some ethyl ethers of amino acids. The synthesis of N-methyl-indole-2-carboxylic acid and 1-isocyanoadamantane was carried out with two different methods to determine the optimal conditions for synthesis. New Ugi products are synthesized in ethanol area, where the reacting components are N-methyl-indole-2-carboxilic acid, 1-isocyanoadamantane, Ethylisocyanoacetate, Aniline, aminoadamantane, glycine, alanine, phenylalanine, Butanal, isobutanal and benzaldehyde. The structures of obtained new compounds are determined via IR and NMR spectrum.
